1- Start building your Financial Freedom
The Census card and the Census App combined will enable you to adopt bitcoin and the world of cryptocurrencies in the most simple way. Let us walk you through how this works.
2- Quick Introduction
The Census card:
It’s a bitcoin smart card offering a seamless, tangible way to store and pay with Bitcoin. The Card is a highly secure hardware cold wallet made to store your bitcoins. With an NFC-enabled phone, you can verify your balance and send your assets if you want to move them to another beneficiaries’ wallet.
The Card’s private key is stored in the secure chip inside the Card. No one has access and no one can extract it. The private key is associated with a unique wallet address which is different from the private key of the Census App.
The Census App (the Digital Wallet)
A one-stop-shop wallet to manage the card and access to the powerful features brought to you by the world of decentralized Apps (dApps). The App holds its own wallets and enables you to buy, send, and receive cryptocurrencies. In addition within the App, you can access our Affiliate program and earn money when your friends and family buy cards.
You will need the Census App (The Digital Wallet) to read and sign transactions of your Census Card which hold only Bitcoins. However, the Census Digital Wallet (the App) holds its own wallets with their own addresses (different from the Card).

You should take the safety of your recovery phrase very seriously.
What is the 12-word back up phrase or the Seed phrase
The 12-word backup phrase – also know as 12-words, “backup”, recovery phrase, mnemonic seed, “seed” – is a unique, randomly generated set of words, that are given to you when you create a wallet. The recovery phrase is used to derive, or generate, all the private keys, which are encrypted directly on your device. You have a private key for each of your assets (Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, etc), but a 12-word phrase has control of all of your private keys. This phrase gives you permanent access to your funds and, therefore, is the most important thing to take care of. 12-word seed phrase can help you to recover your funds if you ever lose access to the wallet installed on the device. You are the only one who will have access to your recovery phrase, and you will need it to retrieve your census wallet if your phone is ever lost or stolen, replaced, or your app deletedThus IF YOU LOSE YOUR BACKUP PHRASE, CENSUS CANNOT RESTORE OR RECOVER YOUR WALLET AND WILL RESULT IN TOTAL LOSS OF THE FUNDS ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR CENSUS WALLET PRIVATE KEY.
